"For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, And He has set the world upon them. My dear Family in Christ, Last week had been a very wonderful week for me as I saw the promise given to me by the Lord Jesus came true last week. I came to USA in 1996 August and was looking for job. I came here because Lord asked me to do so. And He also promised that He is going to give me a good job. But many of my well wishers, friends and relatives gave many sincere advises from there own experience. And they said that I have to go to shop or for mail sorting as no body is going to give a good job. Any way I looked to the Lord for His guidance and asked for help and The Lord told me to wait. I waited for His time and the time was skipping by and I face same group of people every time and they ask "did you get job?" and I had to say no. I did not know that how long I have to give the same reply but I knew one thing that the Lord Jesus Christ is faithful and He will surely fulfill His promise. And it was when I was waiting to get job one side, the other side my dad lost his job and we did not know that what we are going to do. Some how we pulled 6 months with unemployment compensation and Credit Card loan. The time was nearing for exhaustion of unemployment compensation and all at home were jobless. We still knew that the Lord will never leave and never forsake. Yet another problem, my dad fell and broke his teeth and got injury in his finger and he had to be admitted in hospital for treatment of severe infection. The time was hard but we enjoyed the peace and joy of our Lord in those circumstances. And on 1st October my sister got job and we were greatly relieved, as it was just two weeks before the termination of unemployment compensation. And we realized that the Lord is never too late in His calculations and is never too early but He is always on time that also on perfect time.And suddenly I began to get a lot of interview calls and began to find difficulty to manage to attend to all of them. And it looked that after a long time the job is nearing toward me. There were many offers to take up and I was puzzled. I got two very good offers and the job was almost in my hand and Lord said refuse those offers and wait for another. Waited for one full year and still wait!!! but again I knew that Lord's counsel is perfect so I refused those offers and the very next day I got another offer and gave green signal to it. Cleared my technical interview, went for Company interview on 20th October, everything went well and was expecting to get confirmation but it will not come. Finally on 6th November I got the confirmation and I praise God for His faithfulness. For He raised me to this position that I am working as Consultant (Programmer/Analyst) and drawing a salary of $35/Hr.When we wait upon the Lord, He is faithful to make path before us and lead us according to His own way. Yes my friends where ever we are if we are at the center of God's will we will enjoy that situation and He will fulfill His Promises in His perfect time.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
