Mat 6:31-33 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear? "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." What a great promise of God it is. we don’t have to worry about anything. we don’t have to look for what shall we eat, drink or wear. But there is a condition with this promise. We have to do something........We have to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. How many times we fail to give first place to God. I have seen many people they have time to do everything but they don’t care about seeking God, they never read their Bible, they never pray, they have no time to go to Church. When problems come they say why this happened to me only? why.....why? Because we have forgotten our creator. Because we were so much busy with our worldly affairs we have totally ignored Him. But if we seek God, if we give Him first place and if we read the word everyday, if we pray everyday and obey His commandments, we should not have to worry for anything no matter what may happen in our lives, He will take care of us. Each path of life was empty O Lord without you no destination to go,in this tiresome journey confused and confronted with the cares of the world there was nobody to help, in the lonely paths of life there were no hope to go ahead....... How long this journey is,no idea at all where to go what to do.....oh what is the destination? Where shall the weary soul rest And then one day found a friend in this lonely paths of life who took all the grief, all the burden upon Him who died on the cruel cross for me to give me peace and joy The love He showed is wonderful, he cares for me Oh, He comes with me in each path of life and makes my life blossom and flourish in dry seasons Waiting upon the Lord shall renew my strengthI shall mount up with wings like eagles,I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint Because He promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
