Heb 12:2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Jesus died a very shameful and a very cursed death. Why did this happen? Because He loved us so much. He could not see us dying in our sins, He could not see us in a shameful, guilty situation. He took all our shame on the cruel cross that we may not walk as head down or hiding our face. Jesus wants to give us a life guilt free, a life full of glory, a life that is worth living. That's why Psalmist said in Psalms 3:3, "But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head." He took our entire curse on the cruel cross so that we may live curse free in this world. We need not to live in curse anymore. That's why the Bible says in Galatians 3:13, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree')." We need not to live in shame and reproach anymore. His every single drop of blood has been shed for me and for you to give a blessed life. Jesus purchased that precious life which was lost in the garden of Eden. Did you get that life through Christ? If not yet, this is the time, this is the day of salvation. I was in reproach I could not face this world Shame did cover my face I was laden with heavy load of sins Guilt followed me all alongAs much as I tried to run away from this world Oh! It followed me tightly Why don't you leave me alone.... Life was worthless to live There was no hope for me I was at the end of the road There was a sign board in which It was written, DEAD END Oh! Hopeless sinner where you will goYour only destination is hell, hell, hell... But 2000 years ago Jesus came He took all my reproach on the cruel cross He took all my shame and sins on the cross His every single drop of blood shed For my transgressions, for my guilt Oh! His every single drop of blood shed to Cleanse me from head to toe. When Jesus came into my life Life became worth living He changed my failures into victory, He lifted me from the miry clay He changed the sign board in which It was written, DOOR OF HOPE Oh! I am washed with the blood of Jesus My destination is heaven, heaven, heaven....
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
