When I was a little girl I read a story called "Sunhari Khidki" (Golden Window). The story was about a small boy who was residing on a mountain. Every morning when he got up he used to see on the neighboring hill a very beautiful golden thing, very shiny and beautiful. He became so curious that he decided to go there and find out what it was. Finally one day he started from his house to go and see that beautiful golden thing which had attracted him for such a long time. He walked, climbing the hill, to reach there and when he reached there it was evening time. The sun was going down and he desperately looked here and there. Every thing was there, but the golden thing was not. With a long sigh he turned to go home. As he turned and looked towards his house he was stunned! He could not move. He saw the same golden thing in his house, and he realized that the golden thing was nothing but a window, which was glowing when the sun rays were striking. When he started from his house sun the was rising, and he could see the window of the house on the neighboring hill which shining because of morning sun; and he thought that it was something very special. But when he reached there and looked towards his own house he saw the same thing because it was evening time and sun’s rays were striking his house. Dear friend, our condition is also like the experience of this small boy who wanted that beautiful, golden thing but could not notice that it was in his own house. The Bible says in John 1:9-11 "That was the true Light (Jesus), which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not." And the Bible says in John 1:12-13 "But as many as received him, to them gave He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." Yes, the Lord Jesus did everything for us. He took all our sins, grief, and sorrows on the cruel cross. He was bruised for our transgression, but we rejected Him. We could not recognize the supreme sacrifice of Almighty God. Will you please think of it a I have updated my web page. You can see a new look as I changed almost every thing - graphics, backgrounds etc. I am thankful to my friends and family members who gave valuable suggestion to improve the quality of my page. When I was in the midst of storms Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and gave me courage. When I was in the midst of tears Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and wiped away my tears. When I was in the midst of sickness Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and healed me. When I was in the midst of depths Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and paid the price for me. When I was in the midst of loneliness Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and said "I am your friend." When I was in the midst of delima Jesus did not leave me nor did He forsake me. He walked with me and solved everything.
Thank you so much for praying for my daughter. Her name is Kyleen and her husband is Mike. They have 3 small boys. They have gone for joint custody of the boys and it is very hard on them but there father loves them as much as she does and will not give them up and settle for just every other week-end. Thanks again for your prayers and please continue to pray for a healing on her part.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
