Matt 28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Jesus said these words when He was rose from death and appeared before His disciples. When they were broken hearted and griped with fear and confused about the things when happened with Jesus. And Jesus said," Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." How soothing words!! In 1 Sam 1st chapter we read a story of Hannah. She doesn't have a child and because of that she was broken hearted and shed bitter tears very often. In 8th verse, her husband wanted to comfort her but could not. Finally she went to the tabernacle of the LORD and prayed to the Lord with tears as Bible says in 10th verse we read And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish. And in 15th verse Bible says that ".......but have poured out my soul before the LORD." She poured her heart before the Lord and said everything in prayer and we see how she got the enormous peace. She did not get the child instantaniously but her prayer got answered instantaniously and she got peace of mind as Bible says in 18th verse, "...... So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad." Not only that we can see that Hannah had children and she was a happy women. Yes, my friend, when we pour our sorrows, grief and tears before Jesus, He certainly answers us because He is alive and lives forever. He is unchangeing God. Look to Him, He is ready to help you!! I was born in a Christian family in India. My mother was a very pious woman. She used to spend time with God in prayer. She brought up the children in the fear of God. When I was a small child my mother used to tell stories from the Bible she told me that she saw Jesus many times. When she was praying she saw Jesus entering her room amidst bright light and rays of light. So a great desire came in my heart to see Jesus from my early childhood. Every sunday we used to attend the church services and we are regular in our church. I was living as an ordinary christian. My parents did not allow me to see movies before my marriage so I had seen only one or two movies before my marriage. But my husband liked movies so after my marriage i started to see movies and started to live a worldly life . Enjoying life and running away from God. Then also we went regularly to church. But my life did not change. One day in 1980 one man of God came to our house and conducted meeting. At the end of the meeting he told that if somebody here who did not accepted Jesus Christ as personal saviour, now is the time to accept Him as your personal Lord and saviour. Then I also began to pray that Lord Jesus change my life, save me, I am a sinner, I want to come to heaven forgive my sins. After I prayed that prayer a great peace came into my heart and my life changed. All the bitterness of my heart left. As Bible says in 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." It was a very joyful experience. Jesus started blessing in my family. I got enormous peace and blessing in my family through Jesus Christ. The areas where I had failiar in my life I got victory through Jesus. And in the year 1984 Jesus anointed me with Holy spirit and power as Bible says in Acts 10:38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." I could understand that this is the Peace and Joy which is totally different from the worldly joy. I dedicated my life to Jesus. I want to be a mighty witness of Jesus Christ. The only desire in my heart is to live for Christ and to say to the people that Jesus is alive. May God bless you!!
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
