Isaiah 43:1-2, "But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you."Many a times we go through problems, tears and sicknesses and it really troubles us. Tragedy of 11th September not only brought fear in the lives of people but it also gave feelings of insecurity, terrible mental and sometimes physical stress. But the Bible says if you love God and if you are His child, He will take care of you and your family. You need not to fear of anything. Though you may have to go through terrible times or terrible problems but God will be with you as the Bible says in Isaiah 43:1-2, "when you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you."What a wonderful promise of God for His children. That's why David says in Psalms 84:6, "As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools."And also David says in Psalms 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."My, dear friend, you may be going through terrible problems, tears, unbearable pain and sorrows but if you are a child of God you need not to worry about anything because all mighty God is with you and He will take care of everything. If you have not yet invited Jesus in your life, invite Jesus in your life. When He will come in, He will change everything. He will fill your hearts with His divine peace that the world can not give. My dad started vomiting and is hospitalized. Doctors say that probably it was a mild stroke. He is still in hospital, please keep him in your prayers for his full and speedy recovery. Thanks Editor

It is a word which means "defense" and in this case I am talking about defense of the Christian faith. The Bible is a reliable historical document. As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
